Leafling Project
When tree of life doesn’t implement the circle of life, it started to transform her flora and fauna in many different ways. You as player must figure out how to restore the balance.
Theme Protagonist -
A Treeling, shaped by bark and sap, memories lost to the mulch. In our story it's het task to find out what happened to the caretaker - Leaflings - of the Tree of Life.
Area Theme - Rootgrave Depths
Located in the thick, tangled underbelly where the Tree meets the earth. Massive fungal networks glow in the dark, lighting mossy paths that feel centuries abandoned.
Boss Theme - Mother Rot
As you approach the heart of the Depths, the mycelium ceiling pulses. From the glowing fissures rises Mother Rot. She is both beautiful and grotesque—an ancient matron of decay and nurture.
Boss theme - The Burrowed Maw
The root-floor shakes. Earth cracks. Fungal flesh surges forth—The Burrowed Maw, massive and roiling entity that tunnels through the mycelium of the tree.
Area theme - The Barking Wilds
A jagged, vertical world of bark cliffs that tower like cathedral walls. Suspended hamlets cling to the cliffs, amber sap-rivers flow in living patterns and Bark-like Children chase drifting sap-leaves.
Boss theme - Thornmantis
A predatory insect that blends perfectly with bark surfaces. Its limbs like living thorns. The air thickens with silent tension. The beast unfurls—mandibles rasp like wood grating on rock.
Boss Theme - The Sap-Burned Champion
You descend a sap-hardened stairway into a forge suspended over molten amber. The roar of liquid fire fills your chest.
Savepoint/inventory music
While saving in the game you are 'mending'. This may be in the form of mending your wounds, mending a door in a hamlet to help an old NPC, of to contemplate your actions by some funghi.
